This is one of the popular big park in Tokyo area. We visited it before in Spring, and it was beautiful. So, we decided to visit it again in Autumn, to see different kinds of flowers. Now, is the season for Kochia — the cute red ball-looking plants. You’ll see!!
Haha… again, of course, the park does not just start from the park. It takes hours of drive to get there, so when we arrived Chiba area, first of all, we had lunch, which was Seafood rice bowl, completed with Crab miso soup. Although it looked good, it actually did not taste good. I thought Chiba is close to the sea, ordering seafood should be good. But, I think eating at regular Sushi restaurants taste better and fresher!!

In the Hitachi Seaside Park, there are also one or two old style Japanese farmhouses remain. Their roofs were built of very thick layers of dried grass. I always find them fascinating.
The return drive was long… but the night View of Tokyo Bay was beautiful.
Our dinner — was Ringer Hut (a popular Nagasaki style soup noodle chained restaurant) at the Highway Service Area. Although it is chained restaurant, its rich creamy soup base always tastes good. Plus, lots of veges and free upgrade to larger portion of noodles. You can also choose a set with equally high quality fried dumplings and special sauces… If you have not tried it yet, I recommend you do, when you visit Japan next time.
