This is the first time I visited Germany. I have only spent one night at Wiesbaden, the capital of the German state of Hesse, and the second-largest Hessian city after Frankfurt am Main. , but I like it more than Frankfurt. I think it was prettier and more relaxing, definitely a better place for vacation.
I stayed at Premier Inn Wiesbaden City Centre Hotel, just in front of Wiesbaden Central station. The station itself was already a landmark. It was old and elegant, looked amazing at night.
There was a casino (Spielbank Wiesbaden) at city center that almost looked like a palace, but the most significant structure were definitely the red tall monastary (Oranjendenkmal). We simply spent time wandering in the beautiful streets and shops in city center. Wiesbaden is a spa town with many hotsprings, so at the city center there was also two small hotspring fountains for sampling.
