Cycling @ Sengen Park & Lake Kawaguchiko (Nov.27, 2022)
It was a sunny warm Autumn day, we decided to take my bicycles to Mt. Fuji for a day ride.
We visited the popular Arakurayama Sengen Park. The view of Sengen Shrine in front of Mt. Fuji and Autumn trees were indeed amazing. It was very crowded with tourists, but if you take the steep slope up & down instead of the stairs, you can still enjoy some peace…
The short ride along the Lake Kawaguchiko was actually my favorite part, because it was not crowded there. The sun hitting the water surface, tons of ducks floating on the lake to enjoy the sun. The clear view of Mt. Fuji and Autumn trees could not any better. We even enjoyed our lunch at a table outside of a nearby convenience store.
It happened to be the day of Kawaguchiko Marathon, so some roads were closed for the runners, and the traffic was busier than usual, but we enjoyed the view of snowy Mt. Fuji and clouds on the way. It was such a pleasant day and place for a ride! I love the beautiful designs of manholes!
